| For all of those who may be interested in reading something that I wrote:
Have you ever wondered why things always at some point in time seem to be going horrible for you all the stinking time? Well, I have wondered this many times. I mean you think you are happy, home life is good, friends are good, and you have someone really special in your life. wow. life is great. Then it seems like the world has turned it's back on you. Friends are caught up in relationships, you have no relationship anymore, your parents don't get you...what else could go wrong? Well everyone gets this way. It took me until not too long ago to sort of understand this. When this sort of thing happens, more than likely, God is trying to show you a lesson. This lesson is called, "It's not about you!" Even though you think it's about you, and how people have ditched you, and how they don't understand you, well this can be correct but it's like God is saying, "hey you down there, remember me? yeah I'm the one who spoke you and all the earth into existance, I am and always will be.. you need to not be wrapped up in things and people of this earth! It's not about them or you, it's all about me! I can speak you out of existance just as easily as I spoke you into it, but I love you so much, instead I will just discipline you, now remember what I have said, change your attitude, and you will be blessed!"
God speaks to us all differently. Once you start listening and obeying HIm, He blesses you. So if you are thinking why me God? what have I done to deserve this? well it's probly something you haven't done as in give him glory for all the things He has done for you, and blessed you with, because you know, It's not about us...it's ALL about HIm! | | |
| Exciting things:
1. my job...it pays money and is easy and flexible hours
2. Camp Eagle...woohoo
3. Mississippi and building either a house or a church!
4. playing guitar...even though since I play my shoulder is all screwed up. Some things you have to pay a price for I guess
5. some really cool people I know are getting married...congrats :)
That is all for now. My life is pretty boring. All I ever do is, work, help out at church, chill with Amelia and beat her at monopoly. haha and bowling tomorrow! and swimming... good times I don't think too much could top last summer though. But somethings are close... | | |
| the last time I posted anything on here was in the middle of november. I only have like 3 friends or 4 on xanga so there is no need to update too much and I think they all have myspace exept one. haha well summer is upon us, thankfully. I am now a junior in high school. Only 2 more years then hello arkansas for at least 4. Then I'd be close to sadie and rusty...who knows maybe they'll be married soon ;) well my life right now is going good for the most part. Our summer intern, Amelia, arrived yesterday. She is pretty much awesome so it's gonna be a great summer with her here. I am a filing job at this place called pathology consultants of N.M. so that's a nice way to earn some extra cash. I am very busy this summer with traveling....just like I like it. haha We are going the lakes tuesday and I am swimming tomorrow as well. I love it! I love being in the sun but not extremely hot so the lakes is a perfect way to cool down, I must say. Well for any of you that actually care...that is what has been going on in my life currently. well stay cool...every last one of you! | | |
| well it has come to my attention that I have been tagged here on lovely xanga. this is fun. gives me something to do! I guess the simple rules to this is that I have to state 5 weird things about me then tag 5 more people and tell them that I have tagged them and they have to do the same thing.. fun stuff so here it goes.
1. whenever I get gas I always fill it to the nearest dollar because i hate it when the total is something like 29.33...why not fill it to 33?
2. when I play the guitar, especially during youth and sing i always have to move my feet and sort of stomp on the beat.
3. i'm obsessed with pictures...one of my closet doors is a collage of a TON of my pictures.. yep the whole friggin door is covered in pictures
4. I always have to have my Bible journals, school folders, and notebooks organized but i hate even putting my clothes up in my room.
5. I take a jacket or something like that basically everywhere I go almost all the times except for the summer cause I get cold easily and "you never know" when a blizzard might hit in roswell, new mexico..haha
well those are my 5 weird things about me...I guess they are sorta weird. I'm having writers block so that's all I got for now and now I tag: Rusty, Jessica, Amelia, and Miles even though I don't think miles does xanga anymore. And I dont have too many friends on xanga so that's why I only tag 4. most of my intown friends have myspace. oh well 4 is alright..well that's all i got for now. over and out! | | |
| my life is pretty boring. volleyball, eating, and sleeping and thats it. oh and school, but that is forced upon me. unfortunately. I do however do a couple things during the week I enjoy, such as church. I like church, it's fun and girl's group. our volleyball record for jv is like 5-3 for actual games not including tourney records and varsity is like 2-6...not too great but oh well. we are pretty good and I play libero for JV. (wanna know what that is just ask). but yeah I can't wait till volleyball is over cause it consumes most of my time all the time! haha well tomorrow is the parade..yippie! haha i love loud sirens... | | |
